[HEADLINE] Advent Guide Series – Third Sunday of Advent

As we continue our journey through Advent, we want to share with you an Advent Guide for the Third Sunday of Advent. This Sunday we will celebrate Gaudete Sunday, as we light the rose-colored candle and experience a glimpse of the joy of Christmas.

This Sunday, we reflect on the themes of joy, gratitude and rejoicing always in the Lord. As we conclude what has been a difficult year, we are reminded to “Rejoice always!” because God is with us – in good times and in times of struggle. When we encounter Jesus, we find true joy! Download this week’s guide and use it with your family this Sunday, as together we prepare for the coming of Christ this Christmas.

“Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks” (1 Thess 5:16). This Sunday, we celebrate Gaudete Sunday. It is a special moment of joy during the Advent season. Let us ask ourselves: How can we allow Jesus to enter our hearts more fully this coming week? Here is a Guide for the Third Sunday of Advent to assist with your family prayer this Sunday, as together we prepare our hearts and homes for Christ’s coming.
