[HEADLINE] Christmas Guide – Joy to the World

Christmas may look a little different this year, but no less joyful. So let’s remember that the very first Christmas was anything but normal. Mary gave birth to Jesus, the Son of God, in a humble manger in Bethlehem, 90 miles away from home. Despite the challenges they faced, the Holy Family experienced the great joy of welcoming our Savior into the world.

The same is true for us today. Despite the many difficulties of this past year, we know that God chose to be born in less-than-ideal circumstances, and he chooses to be born in our hearts again this Christmas. What a gift! Together, let us proclaim with Isaiah, “Arise! Shine, for your light has come, the glory of the LORD has dawned upon you” (Isaiah 60 1:1).

Download the Christmas Guide below to assist with your family prayer this Christmas. This week’s guide contains a brief reflection on the scripture readings, along with reflection questions and suggestions for bringing Christ’s light and love into your home as you celebrate Christmas.
