Hometown: The Lowcountry of South Carolina by way of Burlington, Vermont.

Education: Rice Memorial High School in Burlington, Vermont; University of Vermont.

Family: Christy and her husband, Jack, have launched two children, Brooks and JB, into young adulthood.

Areas of Expertise: Catholic education, communications, marketing, capital campaigns, major donor relations, annual giving, writing and editing.

Community Involvement: Christy serves as a communications volunteer on the Service Committee at her local Catholic parish, St. Peter’s.

Hobbies: There’s nothing Christy enjoys more than a chance to get outside, enjoy a delicious meal and finish the day with a good book. She has a four-inch binder of recipes! She enjoys hiking, exploring new areas, visiting microbreweries, stand-up paddleboarding and yoga.

Interesting Fact: Christy’s first job was a political appointment with the George H.W. Bush administration in a tiny agency of the Department of Agriculture called the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation.
