John is an active member at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska, has coached his daughter’s softball team and son’s basketball teams, volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands and is a supporter of Relay for Life.

John is the youngest of seven children.
Hobbies:
John and his family enjoy traveling – especially to Florida and Mexico. He is a diehard Iowa Hawkeye fan in a house divided as his wife and children are Nebraska Cornhusker fans. John is also a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Creighton University basketball. In his spare time, John likes to golf, play tennis and racquetball.

My years of experience in Catholic education and higher education have given me a good foundation to build and develop the values of community, support and mission. Working for the Steier Group gives me the opportunity to work with many different communities and organizations toward achieving their fundraising goals.
