Yes. Catholic Newman Centers regularly conduct fundraising efforts to support new construction, debt retirement and ministry expansion. These efforts often take the form of capital campaigns, major gift programs and stewardship initiatives tailored to the mission and values of each center.
Yes and no. Newman Center campaigns are more complex than a typical Catholic parish or school capital campaign. In order to succeed, a Newman Center campaign will need to engage alumni and the local community. But with that comes greater opportunity for fundraising and stewardship. The foundation of a successful campaign is the same – a feasibility study that informs a campaign plan to best engage and excite your community into giving.
Capital campaign services vary from firm to firm. Some take a hands off approach, consulting from a far. Others serve alongside you, working onsite each week.
