St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana, conducted a capital campaign to fund construction of a new church. In the final stage of the formal solicitation period, the parish was blessed to receive a $1 million grant from the Stuller Foundation. Incorporating a matching gift challenge, the parish was able to raise more than an additional $1 million for the campaign. In total, the campaign raised more than $6.5 million for a new parish church. In 2015, the congregation celebrated the opening of its beautiful new church with a special Mass.
