St. Benedict Cathedral

St. Benedict Cathedral, as the heart of the Diocese of Evansville, plays a vital role. But the building, dedicated in 1928, needed maintenance and repairs. The southwest Indiana parish had run three past capital campaigns to build and expand a school but had never embarked on a major fundraising effort for the cathedral itself. The campaign for St. Ben’s, as parishioners call it, represented a great opportunity to take care of this important and historic church building. Parish leadership asked the Steier Group to customize a campaign to focus on social events. It worked, surpassing the high-end projection for the campaign, which saw 10 consecutive weeks of donations exceeding six figures.

“I enthusiastically recommend the Steier Group to any parish considering a planning study or campaign. We did and we will be better for it.”

Very Rev. Godfrey Mullen, OSB, Cathedral Rector, St. Benedict Cathedral

A Customized Approach

We founded our firm on the belief that the best capital campaign is one that is customized and executed by one team, under one roof. When you hire the Steier Group, you eliminate the need to contract with additional vendors for services like copywriting, graphic design, grant writing, video production, website development or wealth screening. We reject the one-size-fits-all approach to fundraising and embrace every opportunity to design a capital campaign plan that will maximize our client’s fundraising potential.
