A thriving parish in the suburbs of Chicago, St. Petronille Catholic Parish and School of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, is home to some 2,800 families with over 500 students in the school and an additional 300 children involved in religious education. After an engineering study uncovered structural and building systems in desperate need of being addressed, leadership at St. Petronille discerned a strategic vision and created a multi-phase master plan that guides the parish through the many projects that are ahead. Modernization projects like replacing the roof, tuckpointing to address the integrity of the masonry, upgrading the pews and flooring, replacing windows in the school building, installing a school-wide HVAC system, and other upgrades are included in the needs for the parish and school.
Because the vision for St. Petronille is wide and varied for the many needs of the community, the parish and school engaged the Steier Group to conduct a planning study which identified the unique qualities of the church community and provided data to expertly guide counsel in our hands-on campaign management model.
