St. Patrick’s Catholic Church

At 154 years-old, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska, is both among the oldest parishes and the fastest growing in the Archdiocese of Omaha. Due to its rapid growth, parish leadership realized the need for a new church building and amenities to house the community. Without practical options to expand on its landlocked campus, a donated 12-acre plot of land became the right location for this new expanded church plan, which includes more than doubling the current church and parish hall square footage, and increasing church seating from 682 to 1,400. Though early major gifts created a basis for moving forward with building an entirely new church, there was a gap between the cost of building and the funds raised. The Steier Group was called on to conduct the final phase of the fundraising effort. By partnering together for a tailored and unique campaign, the Growing in Faith Together Capital Campaign raised over $9 million additional funds, exceeding the total project goal of $30 million to completely fund the new church, parish hall and office space while also providing funding for operations and maintenance of the facility.
