THE CHALLENGE
St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Pickering, Ontario, is a vibrant center of faith and community. However, its aging parish hall could no longer meet the needs of a growing faith family. With limited space and outdated amenities, parish leaders recognized the urgent need for a new facility. In partnership with the Steier Group, the parish faced the challenge of uniting the community to bring this ambitious vision to life.
THE VISION
The Building Hope for the Future Capital Campaign set out to build a new parish hall and chapel with a 15,000-square-foot facility that would triple the current parish hall. The new design includes:
- A large hall for up to 400 people.
- A kitchen, accessible restrooms and four flexible meeting rooms.
- A welcoming atrium, elevator and enhanced narthex.
- Ample storage and utility space.
- A new chapel with seating for up to 37 people.
This project will create a functional and inviting space for worship, ministry and fellowship, supporting the parish’s mission for generations to come.
THE SOLUTION
