THE CHALLENGE
For more than 90 years, St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, Illinois, has been a spiritual home for generations of families. As the parish has grown, so have its needs. St. Jude’s facilities have faithfully served its members for decades, but the time has come to address pressing challenges that impact both the church and school. The parish faced the need for expanded spaces to accommodate its vibrant ministries and growing school enrollment. With safety and accessibility as top priorities, St. Jude is committed to providing a welcoming and secure environment for its community. A previous effort laid a foundation; however, additional funding was required to fully realize the vision.
THE VISION
The Building God’s Kingdom Capital Campaign is a bold initiative to advance the mission of St. Jude Church and School by addressing the critical needs of its facilities. Guided by the values of faith, fellowship and stewardship, the campaign seeks to:
- Construct a much-needed addition to provide space for the parish’s thriving ministries.
- Build a new school entrance to enhance safety and security for students, staff and families.
- Increase accessibility for all members of the community, ensuring that everyone can participate fully in parish life.
THE SOLUTION
