THE CHALLENGE
Roncalli Catholic High School in Omaha, Nebraska, had an eye on building for the future. With increased enrollment and excellent academics and extracurriculars, leadership wanted to update the facilities to match the needs of the student population. The idea of transformation, while exciting, needed significant financial support and a strategic plan to receive it.
THE VISION
The capital campaign focused on three aspects of campus life. These needs included:
- Revitalizing the science labs.
- Turfing the football and soccer fields.
- Resurfacing the track.
- Renovating the student services center.
THE SOLUTION
A planning study with the Steier Group was the backbone of preparation for the Pride In Our Future Capital Campaign. The thorough process revealed high interest in the campaign to meet several goals for the community and projections to set the expectations for fundraising. With a full-service campaign that included graphic design, database analysis, wealth screening management and on-the-ground support, the Roncalli community was able to surpass the low-end fundraising goal, which will fund the majority of immediate needs for the school.
