Newman Catholic is a Blue Ribbon School and ranks among the top private high schools in Iowa. Some important keys to maintaining such a successful record include creating an environment that is conducive to educating students well, and attracting the talent to instruct those students effectively.
Newman Catholic is a school that thrives on involvement from an invested community, so implementing a capital campaign that respects and enhances this was crucial for success. The Steier Group helped Newman Catholic identify the goals for a strong capital campaign. Top of mind was enhancing the endowment for both hiring and retaining top educators, as well as enhancing tuition assistance to provide the opportunity for all students to benefit from a top education. Additionally, there was a goal to upgrade facilities, increase security and safety and repair the sacristy, wood paneling and roof. This campaign exceeded the Steier Group’s projections, raising 230% of the goal.
