With 300 students, Little Flower Catholic School in Reno, Nevada, more than exceeded its limits. Its facilities were built to serve only 200 students. That meant crowded classrooms, a lack of dedicated rooms for music, art and other specialties. The school lacked a lunchroom forcing students to eat at their desks. Without a gym, students had to be bussed off site for practice and events. After years of planning, school leadership knew it was time to build a new multipurpose building to solve these issues and more. The new facility would more than double the number of classrooms and build a multipurpose room to serve as a lunchroom, gym and auditorium. With such a strong case for support, the Catholic community of Northern Nevada joined together to exceed the Steier Group’s projection and raise funds toward this important new facility for Little Flower.
