In 1978, the Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community began in Spring, Texas, with a strong foundation for its church and school. After much studying and praying, the community made a plan to shore up this foundation for the future. The first step in the plan calls for Christ the Good Shepherd to complete much needed renovation work, including updating the parking lot and replacing the roofs of the sanctuary, parish activity center and life center. In addition, Christ the Good Shepherd wanted to take care of its obligation to the diocese and make steps for future expansion with the purchase of additional land. With guidance from the Steier Group, the Building a Faith-Filled Future Capital Campaign was a huge success.
