THE CHALLENGE
It was clear to the parish and school community of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Parish that updating current structures and expanding facilities was sorely needed for the 60-year-old building. The original design of the existing roof was never suited to the climate, which created major interior and exterior damage to the building. THE VISION
The Assumption community needed a capital campaign to address the following:
- Modernize the current sanctuary
- Replace the roof
- Construct a new parish hall
- Set up a long-term vision to develop affordable senior housing on premises
THE SOLUTION
The Steier Group spearheaded the first major capital campaign in 25 years for Assumption. Starting with a planning study that gave the parish confidence in identifying achievable goals, the Steier Group worked hand-in-hand with church leadership to accomplish the many and varied objectives of this campaign. The result was a successful campaign that allows this parish and school to once again enjoy the facilities that bring them together as a community.
