Faced with out-of-date facilities and no room for expansion, the members of the Stillwater Catholic Community united to build a new church campus. St. Francis Xavier and St. John the Evangelist parishioners received a gift of land for use in the construction of a new church. The Steier Group was hired to design and implement a campaign to raise the final $3.7 million required to build the church. The community surpassed its campaign goal by raising more than $4.2 million. The faith community reached its dream when the new St. Francis Xavier Church was dedicated in 2018.
