St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community in Minneapolis has been around for more than 100 years and its church and school buildings are nearly as old. The parish had accomplished many initiatives in its strategic plan but knew the time had come to address numerous facility and maintenance issues. The projects weren’t glitzy. But they were the type churches often face, such as replacing a boiler, rebuilding restrooms, repairing brickwork, replacing windows and updating electrical systems.
