St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church
The St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church community had ambitious plans for a capital campaign to construct a new, permanent church campus. The first phase of the plan called for holding Masses in a temporary building until the parish could pay for and build a new church. Church leaders moved forward with the campaign using the parish’s own internal resources. Although this self-run capital campaign found initial success, it quickly stalled. St. Philip’s leadership realized they needed to re-ignite the campaign to reach their initial goal and begin the project. Recognizing that the final push required professional guidance, St. Philip hired the Steier Group for a campaign assessment. Through this assessment, construction plans shifted, focusing on building part of the church in the first phase. Parish leadership and the Steier Group customized a plan to make the final stretch of the campaign attractive to both those who had already given and new donors. A matching gift served as the focal point of this final campaign push. In the end, the parish rallied behind this final effort and will now celebrate Mass in a new church building.
