St. Monica Catholic Church

St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas hired the Steier Group to run a capital campaign with the goal of a complete remodel of its 50-year-old church. Many updates were planned, such as renovations to the sanctuary, a new ceiling, a new adoration chapel and gathering area, a new organ, replacement of the carpet, new reconciliations rooms, a new work sacristy, replacement of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, new restrooms, updates to the sound system and new audio visual capabilities. In December 2012, the parish celebrated Christmas Mass in its newly renovated church. In 2018, St. Monica partnered with the Steier Group for another campaign, an effort to address needs at the parish school. While the parish prides itself on the education it provides, the more than 50-year-old facilities required attention. The We Are St. Monica – A Legacy of Faith Capital Campaign raised funds for infrastructure updates, security enhancements, new windows and classroom renovations. The primary solicitation strategy focused on personal appeals with each prospect asked to consider a specific request amount. Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, school parents, alumni and others, the parish raised funds for a major renovation that will provide a modern and safe learning environment for students today and for generations to come.
