After a number of building projects over the years, St. Michael Catholic Church in Prior Lake, Minnesota, faced big debt payments and mounting repair costs for its church and school. With this in mind, parish leadership partnered with the Steier Group in a capital campaign called 2020 Vision. The campaign focused on retiring $650,000 in debt and making much-needed repairs to the worship space, school and parking lot. In addition, the parish looked to the future with a communication plan that emphasized Sunday giving. The vision of a stronger church by 2020 is now a reality for St. Michael, thanks to the more than $1.8 million raised in the campaign.
