For more than a century, St. Austin Catholic Parish responded to the needs of both the Diocese of Austin and the city for a growing Catholic home in the heart of Texas. The Faithful to Our Mission Capital Campaign set out to address two main concerns — the safety and financial security of the community. By renovating the church, the community would have a safe and secure environment and by restoring the operating budget, which was depleted to pay down parish debt, the community would achieve financial stability. The fundraising campaign was a resounding success, raising 159 percent of its goal.
