Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, constructed in 1959, was in desperate need of updates to make the sanctuary safer, more inviting and more energy efficient. The Newton, Kansas, parish partnered with the Steier Group for the Legacy of Faith Capital Campaign to raise funds to create a colorful, well-lit worship area that would be accessible to the disabled. The plan also included a Reconciliation chapel, office and sacristy. Through its partnership with the Steier Group and the help of parish leaders and volunteers, Our Lady of Guadalupe held a successful campaign that generated faith in the future.
