Since 1914, Holy Family Cathedral has served as focal point of the Catholic family of Tulsa, Oklahoma. First, as Holy Family Catholic Church and then finally, in 1973, serving as the cathedral for the newly formed Diocese of Tulsa. With such a historic building, renovations are often needed. In particular, accessibility was an issue at Holy Family. With that in mind, cathedral leadership partnered with the Steier Group to launch the Elevate Capital Campaign. Campaign goals included installing an elevator to provide access to all levels of the Cathedral, updating the restrooms, replacing two kitchens with a modern one, and additional renovations both inside and outside of the Cathedral. The Catholic faith family of Tulsa joined together to support the spiritual home of the diocese, raising $3.4 million for these important renovations to the historic Holy Family Cathedral.
