Grand Island Central Catholic

Grand Island Central Catholic partnered with the Steier Group on four capital campaigns. The goal of the first campaign was to build two fine arts classrooms, increase the teacher endowment and salaries, and build a new gymnasium. The needs of the school continued to grow and it was decided that a second and, eventually, third campaign were needed.

The fourth campaign for Grand Island Central Catholic proved to be the largest yet, with a goal to fund the addition of a grade school to offer pre-k through 12th grade education. The Steier Group assisted the school in successfully raising over the $8 million goal for the most recent effort, contributing to a total of $15,560,253 raised across all campaigns.

A Customized Approach

We founded our firm on the belief that the best capital campaign is one that is customized and executed by one team, under one roof. When you hire the Steier Group, you eliminate the need to contract with additional vendors for services like copywriting, graphic design, grant writing, video production, website development or wealth screening. We reject the one-size-fits-all approach to fundraising and embrace every opportunity to design a capital campaign plan that will maximize our client’s fundraising potential.

Grand Island Central Catholic

Since its founding more than 40 years ago, St. Timothy Catholic Church and School in Mesa, Arizona, has been an example to other parishes of how to evangelize and build community. St. Timothy’s knew that facility upgrades were needed for the parish to remain strong in its mission. The parish partnered with the Steier Group on a combined capital campaign to secure funding supporting both the Diocese of Phoenix capital campaign and St. Timothy’s needs, which included elevator, school and security upgrades. The Steier Group’s personal approach to fundraising focused on establishing specific requests for all prospects. St. Timothy’s leaders recruited a diverse and robust group of volunteers who secured pledges and played important roles in strategic planning and other aspects of the campaign. In addition, the campaign conducted a successful Commitment Weekend effort, receiving 280 pledges and raising $715,000 in one weekend alone. A comprehensive communications plan also helped the parish carry out a successful campaign that raised $4.5 million, positioning St. Timothy’s for success, not just for today, but generations to come.
