Diocese of New Ulm

The Diocese of New Ulm conducted a capital campaign to build a new pastoral center in New Ulm, Minnesota. The capital campaign strategy was designed for funds to be shared with the parishes: 50 percent to address parish needs and 50 percent to help build a new pastoral center. The vision of Bishop LeVoir was to liven up parishes while also strengthening the diocese. The fundraising campaign emphasized the importance of the parish goals by sharing the proceeds equally. Nearly 1,000 people toured the new pastoral center when it opened in August 2014.

“The Steier Group came into the Diocese of New Ulm with an effective and comprehensive plan for conducting the capital campaign. They knew how to structure the campaign for success, but were flexible enough to make their model work in this diocese.”

Wayne Pelzel, Director of Development and Foundation, Diocese of New Ulm

A Customized Approach

We founded our firm on the belief that the best capital campaign is one that is customized and executed by one team, under one roof. When you hire the Steier Group, you eliminate the need to contract with additional vendors for services like copywriting, graphic design, grant writing, video production, website development or wealth screening. We reject the one-size-fits-all approach to fundraising and embrace every opportunity to design a capital campaign plan that will maximize our client’s fundraising potential.
