Diocese of Knoxville
The Diocese of Knoxville has a new cathedral thanks to a historic capital campaign titled simply Home. This campaign also focused on supporting needs in the diocese’s 51 parishes as well as providing money for the Pope Francis Charitable Trust Fund, Catholic education and priests’ retirement. The diocese raised more than $45 million, 188 percent of its goal and more than twice its annual offertory. The capital campaign helped the people of this young, growing and vibrant diocese in East Tennessee grow closer together, uniting around a common purpose.
