Matthew Kelly, the internationally acclaimed Catholic speaker and best-selling author of “The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catholic” and “Rediscover Catholicism” has partnered with the Steier Group to design a nationwide fundraising campaign.

Donations to the campaign will allow the Dynamic Catholic Institute to create new, world-class education resources aimed at re-engaging and re-energizing Catholics. These much-needed resources will be made available to parishes across the country for free.

The idea for the project dates to 2009, when Matthew Kelly founded the Dynamic Catholic Institute and launched the most ambitious Catholic research project ever attempted. The organization interviewed more than 4,000 priests, catechists, teachers and parents to learn why some Catholics become engaged while others fall away from the church.

The findings of that research are driving the work of the Dynamic Catholic Institute, whose mission is to re-energize the Catholic Church in America.

Their first project has been to research, design and produce new, cutting-edge confirmation materials. The materials will include world-class video, engaging content and messages that resonate with today’s youth. It will use technologies that have never before been used in confirmation preparation. It will be housed online and available from anywhere.

It cost $3 million for the Dynamic Catholic Institute to produce new confirmation preparation materials. Based on their success developing those materials, the Dynamic Catholic Institute is now working with the Steier Group to plan a $25 million campaign that will fund the creation of additional free, parish resources for first communion, baptism, marriage preparation and other “Catholic Moments.”
