Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP) faced a growing need in Bellevue, Nebraska, where many hardworking families, especially military-connected households, struggled to access affordable, nutritious food. Operating out of a 1,052-square-foot space, the Bellevue Food Pantry had reached capacity, serving more than 1,700 people each month. ENCAP partnered with the Steier Group to launch a capital campaign to transform the space of a former library into a larger, more welcoming facility. Leadership prioritized a highly professional campaign, and the Steier Group delivered; providing in-house graphic design and video production, and strategic messaging that reflected the dignity of the mission. The campaign not only energized the community but also, with the service of Steier Group’s grant writers, secured more than $3.2 million in grant and foundation funding. The result is a modern, accessible food pantry that serves immediate needs and strengthens long-term community resilience.
