Corpus Christi Parish

In 2006, Corpus Christi Parish in Lawrence, Kansas, conducted a capital campaign to build a gymnasium and kitchen. But it left a debt to repay. In 2012, the parish hired the Steier Group to conduct a new capital campaign, called Building Our Legacy … Forged in Faith. The successful effort put the parish on better financial footing, yet $2 million in debt remained. Despite concerns about donor fatigue, parish leadership in 2016 embarked on their third capital campaign in 10 years. Now the parish is debt free. In the two campaigns it aided, the Steier Group raised more than $8.7 million for the parish, totaling 113 percent of goal.

“As a group, the breadth of knowledge and the willingness to listen that exists at all levels, whether leadership, campaign managers, design team or support staff is refreshing, and a bold departure from other firms in the marketplace.”

Rev. Michael H. Mulvany, Pastor, Corpus Christi Parish

A Customized Approach

We founded our firm on the belief that the best capital campaign is one that is customized and executed by one team, under one roof. When you hire the Steier Group, you eliminate the need to contract with additional vendors for services like copywriting, graphic design, grant writing, video production, website development or wealth screening. We reject the one-size-fits-all approach to fundraising and embrace every opportunity to design a capital campaign plan that will maximize our client’s fundraising potential.
